For the 2023 African-American History Month, the George Washington Carver Community Center hosted a panel discussion in partnership with the local Black Democratic Committee and the Inverness Historical Museum.
The audience heard local residents discuss their lives and local history. The panelists included, George Anne Jackson, local historian -Randolph Bellamy, BJ Ezell and Thurman Ezell.
